Asociația Culturală Atelierul European de Artă is delighted to announce the beginning of the international mobility „Future Skills: Digital for Life”, an innovative youth exchange that will take place between October 10-16, 2025.
A European project for digital literacy and inclusion
„Future Skills: Digital for Life” is the result of collaboration between four European organizations united by a common vision: Asociația Culturală Atelierul European de Artă (Romania), Fundacja 108 (Poland), Global Circle (Italy), and La Libélula (Spain).
From digital challenges to opportunities
The project stems from a reality that young people experience daily: constant use of technology, but lack of the necessary skills to use it productively and safely. From the four participating countries, we identified that less than 40% of young people verify information found on the internet, and many don’t know how to use digital tools for professional and personal development.
Instead of remaining prisoners of endless scrolling and misinformation, the partner organizations have found a solution through non-formal education and interactive learning.
The main goal is to help 28 young people become more digitally literate, discover ways to make the most of the technology they already use, and realize the importance of digital skills in all spheres of activity.
An intensive week of digital discovery
During the next 7 intensive days, at the hotel within CCSS Tei, participants will:
- Understand the importance of digital skills for professional and personal life
- Master the use of at least 3 essential digital tools (Notion, Excel, Canva, Miro, PowerPoint)
- Develop critical thinking to identify misinformation and biased content online
- Learn to productively manage time spent online and have a balanced digital life
- Discover how computers work through a visit to a repair service
- Explore cybersecurity and personal data protection
Rich and interactive program – download the schedule here
The mobility includes practical workshops, teamwork sessions, a „technology-free day” for balance, a visit to a computer service center to understand hardware, as well as intercultural exchange moments. Each national team will organize an online Cyber Chat on October 15, interactive events open to the community, where they will address digitalization subtopics relevant to the local audience.
This mobility is part of a larger 10-month project that will continue with:
- Local hackathons – events where young people will find digital solutions to their communities’ problems
- Internal workshops in each organization to multiply the acquired skills
- Continuous mentoring sessions for participants

European impact
The project will reach a minimum of 200 young Europeans through dissemination and local actions, promoting:
- Digital transformation as a European priority
- Quality employment through digital skills
- Quality learning through non-formal methods
- Inclusion – 14 out of 28 participants are young people with fewer opportunities
„Future Skills: Digital for Life” demonstrates that digitalization is not just about technology, but about opportunities, personal development, and civic engagement. Through this initiative, young Europeans become conscious and competent users of technology, prepared for the challenges of the future.
