Day 5: Preparing the final exhibition – When photographs become instruments of civic dialogue
August 23, 2025, Bucharest – This day of the „We frame the change” mobility meant preparing the public exhibition at the „Iulia Hasdeu” Seniors Club. Photographs taken today and the previous day became protagonists of an intergenerational dialogue about active citizenship and Bucharest’s future.
Morning preparations – from concept to reality
The day began with workshops and games through which we learned about teamwork, leadership and trust. Then beneficiaries went out in the field and „hunted” subjects, seeking to transform their own vision into reality.
Thematic zones launched as challenges:
Freedom of Expression Zone – photographs exploring the diversity of voices in Bucharest
Our Environment Zone – Images contrasting ecological problems with innovative solutions
Living Democracy Zone – Scenes from daily democratic life
Digital Era Zone – Challenges and opportunities of citizenship in the online environment
Civic Spirit Zone – Documenting volunteering and urban solidarity
Interactive presentations – storytelling in action
The central part of tomorrow’s exhibition will consist of individual presentations, in which participants will transform photographs into captivating stories about active citizenship. Intensive work was also done on this aspect, so that tomorrow they will be up to the event.
