An Erasmus+ Project for Future Youth Leaders
Asociația Culturală Atelierul European de Artă invites you to discover our Erasmus+ project, „From Training to Leadership”, an ambitious initiative designed to transform youth workers from Romania and Europe into competent and inspiring leaders.
What is the „From Training to Leadership” project?
This is an international training course designed for youth workers who want to develop their leadership skills and become more effective mentors for the youth groups they work with. The project spans 10 months (August 2025 – May 2026), culminating in an intensive week of training in Bucharest from November 10 to 16, 2025.
The European Partnership
We collaborate with youth organizations from 5 European countries:
- Romania – Cultural Association European Art Workshop (coordinator)
- Lithuania – Centrines Europos tribuna
- North Macedonia – Organization for Social Inclusion and Lifelong Learning NECI
- Turkey – PANGEA Gençlik Derneği
- Spain – ASSOCIACIÓ Globers
Project Objectives
Our training course aims to achieve three main objectives:
- Developing essential skills: Equipping 25 youth workers with fundamental competencies – decision-making, emotional intelligence, and effective time management.
- Acquiring leadership knowledge: Learning important aspects of leadership – assertive communication, conflict resolution, and group dynamics management.
- Building confidence and motivation: Developing the self-confidence needed to organize higher-quality activities and support the development of young people in the community.
Who is it for?
The project targets active youth workers from partner organizations, with a focus on:
- People at the beginning of their career in youth work
- Those who want to improve their coordination skills
- Participants with fewer opportunities (economic or social barriers)

Intensive 7-day training in Bucharest with experienced trainers- Non-formal learning methods adapted for adults
- Practical activities in the community alongside young people from Bucharest
- Individual mentoring for 3 months after training
